TEXO Recruitment Expands to Port of Blyth

TEXO are pleased to announce that our recruitment service, TEXO Recruitment, is opening a new office in the Port of Blyth, where our Port Services division is already based.

TEXO Recruitment specialises in supporting onshore and offshore businesses with skilled, experienced recruitment, and engaging with local business to support filling positions at all levels in the engineering, fabrication, asset management and survey sectors.

TEXO has hired Kris Langley as a Senior Recruitment Consultant based in Blyth, within the TEXO facility. Kris has a solid background in recruitment across all energy sectors, including oil and gas, wind, solar and energy storage, as well as heavy industry recruitment.

“There are huge opportunities for skilled people in the North East. We are expecting government investment in the area, and Port of Blyth is home to market-leading organisations that are always looking for great candidates. With our offshore, engineering and fabrication experience, we’re ideally placed to bring candidates and job opportunities together, supporting the local businesses and communities in the Port of Blyth and the surrounding area.”

“Opening this new office is a response to considerable market demand for expanding workforces in the area. It means we can put a dedicated local team in place to support businesses in the area, which are seeing increased project success and need a skilled and experienced workforce to help them deliver. We are expecting to have a team of between six and eight dedicated recruiters based in Blyth during the next 12 months.”

–  Debra Bruce, TEXO Recruitment’s Managing Director.
