Cesscon Decom, is a provider of decommissioning services for the energy sector located in Fife at the Fife Energy Park. The client is developing the facility for future decommissioning projects on the site. Texo Workspace Solutions was asked to supply, deliver and install welfare and office facilities for approximately 30 members of the client’s site workforce as well as providing enough space for 10 socially distanced office-based staff.
We proposed an interconnected modular building design which would create a flowing work area for both contractors and office staff. Within this modular facility we provided male and female toilet and changing facilities, a canteen and mess facility, and an open plan office area which also provided a designated separate site manager office. In addition, we built a boardroom which featured a 270-degree panoramic view across the company’s site.
Works were planned to ensure the safety of all the workforce on site and to provide smooth delivery and installation of the modules. The modules were delivered to site at 9am on a Monday morning and successfully handed over to the client as complete and commissioned ready for use, and client occupation Thursday morning of the same week.
